Temple Attendance

(I found this story while studying my gospel doctrine lesson -- and came across the online teacher's forum, where members could share things. This is one of those stories. There is no way to document it -- but it is a good story anyway -- we can only hope that it is real!)

Last night I was told by a full time missionary in my ward, that his parents had written to him and told him of the events that happened to his neighbors back home.

The parents had left their children with the baby sitter, and gone to the temple for one session, which is a six hour drive. While there the mother had a feeling that something was wrong, and told the patriarch that she felt she should call home, or go home straight away. The patriarch told her that everything would be fine, and so they stayed at the temple.

Back home at the same time the baby sitter noticed that the two year old had gone missing. Worried she and the other children all went out to look for him. A while later after no joy, they returned home, and the baby sitter was about to call the temple and the police, when a lady came to the front door, with the toddler holding her hand! The lady wrote her name on a piece of paper, so that the parents would know who had returned the boy when they got home.

Later in the day the parents returned, the baby sitter told the parents what had happened. When they looked at the piece of paper, the name that
was written on the paper was the same name as the parents had taken to the temple that day to do work for! (Emma)
