I'm not normally one to quote fiction -- but I thought this perspective was great! The following conversation is a fictional conversation between a woman and her bishop, discussing a problematic relationship.
"What's the use?" I asked him. "If my husband and I can't build an eternal family here, what chance is there that we'll have an eternal marriage up there?"
"None," he agreed. "But you're only at halftime, and you committed -- covenanted -- to play the entire game."
