I'll Go Where You Want Me To Go

I've always considered this song to be about missionary work - or the call to serve any where.  But, yesterday, it hit home in a deeper way.  Considering trials that we face, this hymn helps with the resolve to face any challenge we face in life with faith and determination.  Whatever path we are called to walk down, whatever trial we are called upon to face, be determined to say "I'll go where you want me to go, dear Lord -- I'll be what you want me to be, I'll say what you want me to say...".  Furthermore, what he needs you to do may be to labor quietly in subtle ways.  Even within your own family -- you may want to labor raising your kids to greatness - in a worldly way.  Instead, you may be raising quite giants... no worries, the Lord knows their greatness!
