Is it really as simple as putting God first? And what does that mean? When God was dealing with Moses and the children of Israel in the wilderness - He told Moses to raise up the brass serpent, and promised the people that if they would just look upon it it would heal them.
Does that make sense? Surely we must have to do more than that...We could use a knife to little cuts over the puncture wounds.... then we’ll (paraphrased from “He Did Deliver Me” pg. 9)
As you begin, you will need to realize that to whatever extent you have been trying to fix your life from the outside in and neglecting the inner person, you will find that inner self an undernourished and out of shape spiritual being. You will be tempted to think this malnourished, nunexercised spiritual self is all there really is of you spiritually, that somehow you must have stowed awayin the transport area when all the really valiant spirits were coming in the last days. I want to encourage you to withhold judgement until the end of the course of this study. you see, the truth is, our spiritual self adapts to and is shaped by our blliefs and choices, and these belieifs and choices are either noursihing or starving our spiritual selves.
