Last night we had our Young Women's New Beginnings program. The general theme for this year is from Doctrine and Covenants 4:2 "O ye that embark in the service of God, see that ye serve him with all your heart, might, mind and strength, that ye may stand blameless before him at the last day."
Our theme for New Beginnings was "Dont' Miss The Boat!" The effort was to encourage young women to embark on a journey of service and discipleship, embracing young women values and keeping our focus centered on Christ.
Our Young Women's president gave an excellent message she entitled "Unsinkable" where she told the stories of the Unsinkable Molly Brown and Peter.
