Notes from Stake Conference in Ashburn, VA June 2007I don't recall the name of the speaker as I was a visitor there, but it was a counselor in the Stake Presidency.
He compared life to a jigsaw puzzle
Talked about how they starte by putting up the perimeter and how that helps to have an idea of the space they are working within. Even if not all the pieces are there you still have an idea.
Also, how there alwasy seems to be a piece that just doesn't fit! He'd even thought at timets that thei piece was a joke! He has learned that if he puts it aside out of his view -- eventually as the puzzle conmes together the pieces does fit & beautifully!
He related to concepts of the gospel. You don't understand yet, focus on what you do know and put the other aside -- eventually you'll be able to understand all things.
