My daughter shared with me an experience she had recently after an activity with a group of youth, boys and girls aged 12+. Generally, at the end of the meeting, the youth would have a closing prayer. But this time, when prayer time came, one of the young 12 year olds dropped to his knees as we would for our personal and family prayers. Generally, the youth take a moment and pray sitting or standing where they are. So, this was a bit unusual for the youth and they all turned and looked at him, a bit surprised and unsure what to do. Without hesitation, he exclaimed while throwing up his arms "Well, He is just the creator of the Universe!" (as in - no big deal...he just created the universe!)
I love the wisdom, the perspective and the courage to lead out. Surely, we owe our Creator deeper reverence then we sometimes show.
