Basically, he took the pdf version of the scriptures from LDS.org and in Acrobat printed on 8.5x11 without increasing text size.

Instructions:

  1. First step is to download the PDF of the scripture files from . This links to the english scriptures, if you click on “english” in the upper right hand corner of the page and select a different language, you can access PDFs for a whole variety of languages. Save the desired file to your computer.
  2. Using Adobe Acrobat Pro (or comparable), open the page thumbnail tab, select all pages using CTRL+A, then right-click on one of them. 
  3. Select the “Crop pages” option, and it should open a dialog called “Set Page Boxes.” In that dialog, there’s an option called “Change Page Size,” and you simply select “letter,” then “ok” to apply the change.
