Mt Rushmore Sculptor's comment on what the study of these men did to him personally

 A plaque at Mount Rushmore had the following quote

This is the work that I love most, this intimate contact with the four men.  As I become engrossed in the features and personality of each man, I feel myself growing in stature, just as they did when their characters grew and developed." (Gutzon Borglum, Sculptor of Mount Rushmore, NY Time Magazine, August 25, 1940)

It impressed me that a study of good people could bring about a personal change just by desiring to emulate them.  How much greater than, would it be to study the life of the savior and learn better how to emulate the only one who is perfect!
